After researching several fine dining options in the area, we chose Salt for its standout tasting menu—and it didn’t disappoint. Each course was an experience: beautifully plated, with great flavour combinations and interesting textures. Well worth the price.

I visited Salt a year ago today! I forgot to review the food here, which was stunning! I had the tasting menu and it did really blow my mind. I just had a tasting menu down the street yesterday that reminded me the food here. I think the tasting menu in Salt was creative, flavourful and impressive. I walked pass yesterday, and it looked like the restaurant has totally shut down or something. Hopefully not, keep up to it!

I just want to say a huge thank you to the and the team for unforgettable evening The food, presentation and atmosphere was fantastic!!!! The food was so so tasty,so rich in flavours and the wine was perfectly chosen to go with every dish Thank you so much again me and my husband will definitely be back

Lovely restaurant, the food was fantastic and the staff were so attentive. I’d definitely return if I was in the area again. My only small critique was the limited drinks selection. I did notice the bar was quite small and the focus seemed to be on the wine. Purely personal preference and didn’t impact the overall experience.

I took my mum here for mother's day lunch (well the Thursday after) we arrived about 30 mins early but the friendly staff had no problems seating us straight away. Our server brought us some water for the table and took our drinks order. We chose to have the 6 course taster menu with the lamb main and shortly after the food started to arrive. We sat in the back by the kitchen and I got to watch the chefs preparing the meals. There was no panic everything was calm and they really looked as though they were enjoying it as much as I was At no point did we feel rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy each course. Our server explained each course so we knew exactly what we were having. The food was exquisite. I especially enjoyed the home made bread and butter, the cod dish was amazing as was the carrot course, which I admit, I wasn't expecting. If I had to pick out one course to put on a pedestal it had to be the rhubarb and custard dessert. On my first taste of this I floated away in my own world. The chef that made this dish needs to have a special bonus because that was out of this world. The flavours and textures were perfect. BRAVO!!! Overall the whole experience was a delight. Would I go back, definitely. Would I recommend it to friends and family, definitely (already have). A fantastic experience from start to finish.

This was my first experience at a Michelin Star restaurant, so I don't have any frame of comparison... but it was incredible! The service was fantastic, staff were friendly welcoming, and kindly talked us through the process and explained each meal in detail. The food itself was absolutely amazing. There was one course that wasn't to my preference, but that was just my own taste as everyone else loved it. The food was both incredibly tasty and beautiful, and although each dish is small I was so full by the end of the meal that I could barely move . The restaurant is small but very pretty, and it was very clean - I was so confident in the cleanliness levels that I would have happily eaten off the table (not that I needed to obviously) and normally the idea of that would gross me out. It was a tad colder in the room than I would have liked, so if you are sensitive to the cold then make sure to bring a cardigan. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a memorable night out, and I cannot wait for a chance to go back again.
